WEEK 50: The Lord Provides!

HEY Y'ALL

We had another exciting week! On Tuesday we found 6 new people to teach! It was absolutely miraculous. Almost every single day this month we've given out a Book of Mormon copy, and to most of the people we've given it to, they have begun reading it! We have a lot of elect people who are recieving the gospel, and it's incredible. We have many amazing people, but unfortunately a lot of them live outside of our area or need to be passed off to the YSA ward. But, we've got to not be selfish and let these golden people go bless other missionaries...

However, we do have some incredible people who do actually live in our area! And I'm just grateful that so many people are receptive right now. The Lord really does soften hearts! Please pray for our friends Mike, Frank, Jessie, William, Montego, Christian, and Anthony! They blow me away at their humility and willingness to learn, and they're all reading the Book of Mormon! Now we just need to help them get to church go take the sacrament!

Other fun things from this week are that we had exchanges! We had two, which was kind of a lot for one week, but we exchanged with Sister Welch and Sister Salazar (both past companions of mine, it was SO fun!), and then with Sister Wilkinson and Sister Thomsen.

We also got creative with meals this week as we didn't plan well enough to feed all the sisters for our exchanges, so Saturday and Sunday's meals required thinking outside the box. But, the Lord always provides! I've seen it very literally, especially this past week. Walk with faith and the Lord provides a way!

I highly recommend practicing walking with faith to all of you, this week. It's hard to do, but giving something to God and just putting all your worries in His hands and moving forward, despite not knowing the outcome, gives Him the room to work. Don't lower your expectations or your faith. Give God the room to work, and He will perform miracles in your life! I can promise that because I have seen in happen literally in front of my face! Give it a try. God will never let you down when you trust Him.
