WEEK 46: "Oh, Yeah. It's All Coming Together."

Good morning!!!

Life is busy.

I left Old Henderson for New Henderson last week, and was dropped right into the middle of a large, bustling city center area. We've got lots of shopping centers and so, so many apartment/condo complexes. I'm enjoying my time here already! I joined Sister Seibold here, and we are the Sister Training Leaders (STLs) over two zones in Henderson, so we get to work with all the sisters here very closely. There's so much to learn and so many more meetings and councils and phone calls than I've ever experienced before, but it is so fun. I immediately felt a difference in the Spirit after I recieved this assignment and came to this area. I testify that God truly does qualify those He calls! On my own I'm nowhere near capable or able to minister to each of these sisters or lead and direct, but with this calling and the additional power and authority that comes with it from God, I've already seen a difference in myself and my ministry. Sister Seibold is also AMAZING and is such a powerhouse. She is focused, committed, and obedient. I'm learning so much from her, and she just lifts and motivates everyone she works with. It is a blessing for me to have her as my companion!

Like I said, this is a busy area. And with a leadership assignment, it's even more hectic! But busy is good. The joy in missionary work is truly found in the work! I'm just trying to keep up and learn the ropes of a new area and new stewardship. We cover three wards the Carnegie stake, so they keep us running all over the place. There are so many people to meet! We have some very sweet friends, and I'm so excited to keep getting to know them.

Sister Seibold and I have spent a lot of time brainstorming, studying, pondering, and discussing how we can improve our ministries. "Innovation" is a word we've been invited to implement, and I'm enjoying the challenge of thinking of new ideas and creatively applying them. The Spirit's place in helping us to recieve revelation and enlightenment is no joke! God truly is so anxious to give us the blessings and answers were looking for. Sometimes we just forget to ask, or don't think we can or should. But when we ask, seek and knock, the Savior promises that He will give, help us find, and open the way for us to recieve the necessary revelation to press forward. I especially love analyzing the unique relationship in the different ways to search and recieve that Christ teaches in 3 Nephi 13:7-8 (see also Matthew 7:7-8). I invite you to study those verses and think about what this principle means for you, and how you can apply it to your life! God wants to reveal His will to us, and will give us knowledge if we ask and seek! I promise.

Anyway, have a good week! Love ya, bye!
