WEEK 17: The One Where I Send A Short Email

Hello!

Wow. It feels like I JUST send last week's email! This week went by so quickly. I honestly don't even remember most of it! I just know that it's been a lot of fun. I'm just going to outline the week in bullet points today!

- We played cards for 3 hours as a district last P-day, and it was so fun!

- The Elders surprised us with FIVE boxes of outshine fruit bar popsicles!! After we had already restocked for the week... Our freezer is just entirely popsicles at this point. But I'm not complaining. Tried to return their kindness by offering stickers we picked up at the dollar store.

- The weather dropped from 90⁰ to 60⁰ this weekend. We had a huge dust storm Saturday, it was so hazy and gross that we couldn't even see the lights from the Strip. The wind gusts got up to 27mph! And the wind was COLD. I finally got to wear a cardigan! It officially feels like fall here.

- Roy is on date for baptism!! We invited him to pray about baptism this week, and he said he got a confirmation every time he prayed. We also asked him to pray about a date, and he chose November 19th! So please keep Roy in your prayers! He has a lot to do to be ready, but we know it's possible.

- Our cute friend Ovella is sadly moving to Ohio to live with her sister this week, and we're really sad to see her go! I've had a few moments as I've grown to know her where I've suddenly been able to see her through God's eyes. He loves her so much. I can feel just how precious she is to Him, and I'm so grateful He has let me work with her! "The worth of souls is great in the sight of God..." - Doctrine and Covenants 18:10

- We got Boba smoothies today!! Absolutely scrumptious. We also had a brunch party with our district for pday, we made crepes! We also burned a lot of bacon. But it was so much fun, and very delicious.
